The Hamamatsu NanoZoomer® S540MD slide scanner system is designed for laboratories requiring exceptional throughput and large-scale slide digitisation. With a capacity for up to 540 slides and a throughput exceeding 82 slides per hour, the NanoZoomer S540MD enables laboratories to manage high volumes efficiently while maintaining outstanding image quality. Fast scanning speeds of approximately 30 seconds per slide, combined with continuous loading capabilities, help maximise productivity and minimise workflow interruptions.

As part of Sakura's SMART Automation portfolio, the NanoZoomer S540MD extends workflow automation beyond tissue processing and staining into digital pathology. Flexible rack configurations, uninterrupted slide loading and seamless integration with existing laboratory workflows help pathology teams manage increasing slide volumes with confidence.
