The Hamamatsu NanoZoomer® S20MD slide scanner system delivers fast, high-quality whole-slide imaging in a compact, scalable format, making digital pathology accessible to laboratories of all sizes. Designed to convert glass slides into high-resolution digital images quickly and efficiently, the NanoZoomer S20MD supports approximately 30-second scanning times, offers both 20x and 40x imaging modes and accommodates up to 20 slides per batch. Its compact footprint allows laboratories to introduce digital pathology without significant infrastructure changes, while retaining the flexibility to expand capacity as demand grows.

As part of Sakura's SMART Automation portfolio, the NanoZoomer S20MD extends workflow automation beyond tissue processing and staining into digital pathology. The scanner is compatible with Sakura’s slide-handling solutions, including easy loading from Sakura slide baskets, helping to create a streamlined workflow from sample preparation through to slide digitisation.
